Consultation options

All consultations are from the comfort of your own home. Pippa is based in West Pymble and travel is included in a roughly 15 km radius. Further travel may be charged a small travel fee.

I am a registered provider with Medibank Private. If you have private health insurance with Medibank or a different insurer, please call them to see if you are eligible to claim for lactation services.

Pippa offers a $50 discount on the initial consultation to financial members (i.e. Virtual Village members) of the Australian Breastfeeding Association because the ongoing support families can receive from membership can make a real difference to the parenting journey

  • Antenatal - 60-90min

    Whether it’s your first or a subsequent baby, let’s plan to give you an informed and empowered start to your breastfeeding journey. 

    We’ll explore your medical history, thoughts and feelings about breastfeeding; your goals and concerns and where to find helpful information. Breast exam recommended but optional. 

    If this is a subsequent baby, we can unpack your prior breastfeeding experience to identify where and how you might like to plan to do things differently. 

    Cost - $200

  • Postnatal - 90-120min

    Initial: We will unpack your birth experience, how breastfeeding is progressing, how you’re feeling about it and how I can help. I can perform an oral assessment of baby and observe a feed. 

    We will make a detailed plan together that helps you feel supported and empowered. The fee includes seven days of follow-up texts or emails as required. 

    Cost - $250

  • Follow up - 60min

    Sometimes it’s not possible to fix everything in the first visit, new challenges arise, or plans need adjusting.

  • Before birth and beyond package - 180min

    90 minutes antenatal and 90 minutes postnatal
